It’s a tragedy about the fleas…someone should have given them to Congress. Perhaps then we could have seen some useful activity out of them.
After Holmes delivers the sobering view, you deliver the really important stuff.
LOL. We try to not keep people too depressed for too long. 🙂
Thanks for the shout-out! And congrats to Holmes for being Freshly Pressed – good stuff!
You’re welcome. 🙂
Oh no! Not the fleas! Someone think of the fleas!
Liked the video as well 🙂
LOL. It’s terrible, isn’t it? 🙂
Holmes- So happy for you on the FP. Selfishly I’m glad your post drew more attention to this crazy situation. Although as you point out, that leaves the backside exposed. But- great to see a provocative post get FP!
Thank you, Emily. 🙂
Wow. Don’t make the mistake of reading the comments on the pickle story. Amazing how offended some people get at things like that. Not the original name, mind. They were offended that the woman had the AUDACITY to get offended and ask the company to change, and seemingly even more so that the company changed the name. It was like I stepped into some mean-spirited realm of the Twilight Zone where human compassion (and basic spelling and grammar) went to die.
Hi Andrew. I confess I did not read the comments. I find that most mainstream articles attract a huge number of trolls so I don’t bother looking at them anymore. It is shocking how people abandon common decency on the internet at times. Thank you for your warning.
The link to Julie Lenarz’s piece on Saddam Hussein’s Kurdish genocide is a sobering read, reminding us of what governments are capable of when left unchecked. Thanks for posting the link.
You are amazing – thanks for the mention. Love the Flea Circus bit. 🙂
